Choose for the people around you
LudoFor two to four people sharing one screen. Choose Quick with two pieces per colour when the group wants a lighter session.
Four in a RowFor two players taking turns. The fixed board and visible discs make it easy to hand the phone over after each drop.
Tic-Tac-ToeFor a simple shared round with little setup. Swap between short rounds instead of committing the whole group to one long game.
Word WheelFor a solo crossword-style puzzle. Another person can suggest a word, but the game itself remains a solo mode.
SolitaireFor one person who wants a card game without packing a deck. Easy uses draw one; the other levels use draw three.
What should you download before leaving?
Install Offline Games while you have a connection; it includes every pick on this page. If the group mainly wants to play together, Duo Games includes the three shared board games listed here.
Open the actual modes you want and try a round in airplane mode before the trip. That checks your own installation and helps you find the friend option without relying on an online explanation later. Android test APKs are available; the iPhone apps are coming soon.
How should a group share one phone?
Agree who is playing before starting. Ludo supports more than two people, while Four in a Row and Tic-Tac-Toe are two-player games. If there are more people than seats, rotate who plays the next round rather than assuming every mode supports the whole group.
Turn-based games let one person hold the phone for a move and then pass it on. Name a stopping point, such as one Quick Ludo match or three completed Tic-Tac-Toe rounds, so everyone knows when to switch activities.
What happens with no reception?
The installed games do not need to pair phones, join campsite wifi or download another game mid-session. Optional video rewards need a connection, so choose to play without depending on them while away from signal.
Browser play needs a connection to load initially. Prepare the app ahead of the trip rather than plan to visit a website for the first time after reception disappears.
