We make the PaperFox games compared here. This is our feature comparison using linked publisher pages checked on , not a hands-on performance ranking. See sources and scope.

Try our games below| What matters | 2 Player games: the Challenge | Duo Games |
|---|---|---|
| Two people, one device | The listing describes local multiplayer on one phone or tablet.[1] | Two players share the same phone; separate-device online matches are not offered. |
| Games in common by mechanic | The listing includes table tennis, pool and tic-tac-toe.[1] | Our own Table Tennis, Pool and Tic-Tac-Toe are included. |
| Solo opponents | The listing advertises AI opponents.[1] | Some games support computer opponents; check each game’s modes. |
| Different reasons to choose | The listing also names air hockey, snakes and penalty kicks.[1] | Our current Duo selection instead includes Ludo and Tug of War; it is not a copy of that catalog. |
Try one simultaneous match and one turn-based game
Start with Table Tennis to see whether both people can comfortably reach their controls. Then try Tic-Tac-Toe or Ludo if you prefer taking turns. The size and orientation of your phone can matter as much as the choice of collection.
Both people play on the same device in Duo. It does not send an invitation to a second phone. If your friend is elsewhere, use an online multiplayer product instead.
Know what is in the current Duo release
Duo currently ships 5 games. Its app page is the source of truth for that list, rather than games discussed in our future plans. Each PaperFox game has its own rules and controls even when the underlying mechanic is familiar.
Use the browser previews while connected or install the Android test APK before your next trip. Our iPhone app is still coming soon. Existing scores and purchases from another app do not transfer.
Questions
- Can Duo Games connect two different phones? No. Duo is designed for local play on one shared phone, not online matchmaking or separate-device rooms.
- Does Duo contain every minigame from the Challenge? No. These are separate collections. Check Duo’s current five-game list rather than expecting the other app’s catalog.
